New and As-Built Mapping Services
TSB has mapped over 8,000 miles of existing broadband plant, including aerial and underground fiber and coaxial cables. The information gathered includes; routing, cable types and sizes, active and passive identification along with complete residential and business information including service points and addresses.
Our as-built documentation also includes field notes alerting the system of potential problems; including broken lashing wire, kinked or damaged cable, broken tap ports, damaged or missing pedestals, NESC code violations, and other irregular plant construction. The maps also include splice points and the plant location in relationship to streets.
